1. Pre-conference JMP workshop

On Wednesday 4 February (the day before the ORBEL29 conference starts), a workshop on the statistical software JMP will take place. The tutorial will demonstrate the capabilities of the JMP software by introducing a tablet manufacturing process and its current quality characteristics, before demoing how to dramatically improve the process capability.

The workshop will take place from 14h00 to 16h00 at the University of Antwerp city campus and will be presented by Volker Kraft of the SAS Institute GmbH, Germany.

The workshop is open to everyone (and not limited to ORBEL29 participants), but registration is required.

2. Pre-conference drink

ORBEL29 delegates arriving in Antwerp on Wednesday 4 February are cordially invited to a pre-conference drink in the Agora Caffee, which is located at the main campus of the University, Grote Kauwenberg 2, 2000 Antwerpen. We will be there from 16h30 until 20h (or later...).

3. Deadline reminder

There is still time (one week) to submit an abstract to ORBEL29.

Important dates for submission and registration to the conference are:

• Abstract submission: Friday, January 16, 2015.
• Abstract acceptance: Monday, January 19, 2015.
• Early registration: Friday, January 23, 2015.
• Conference: February 5 - 6, 2015.
