  EURO 2016 “New Advances in Health Care Applications”

The special issue for the 28th European Conference on Operational Research (EURO) 2016 held in

Poznan, Poland, is aiming at collecting high quality papers focused on “New Advances in Health

Care Applications”. Researchers and practitioners that develop and use operations research in health care are invited to submit their work to be published in this special issue.

 We encourage contributions with new trends and advances related to typical problem areas of health care such as:

• Modeling and Optimizing in Emergency Medical Systems

• Home Care and Long Term Care

• Disease Modeling and Policy

• Cancer Treatment Planning

• Modeling Infectious Diseases

 

We invite researchers to submit their work to this special issue as an opportunity for publishing in a high quality journal. Submitted papers should fulfill the scope of Operations Research for Health

Care (ORHC) as written on the journal’s homepage (a guide for authors is available here).

Please submit your full papers for ORHC through http://ees.elsevier.com/orhc/

Select the article type option for special issue from the drop down menu “Special Issue: EURO 2016”.

Deadline for special issue submissions is October 1, 2016. The targeted date for publication is August 2017.
