CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

 

Biannual Conference, organized on behalf of the « Benelux Interuniversity Association of Transport Researchers »

(BIVEC-GIBET – www.bivec.eu)

The next BIVEC-GIBET Transport Research Days will take place on Thursday, May 18 and Friday, May 19 2017 in Liège, Belgium, organized by the Center for Transport, Mobility and Logistics, University of Liège. The Transport Research Days offers young and established scholars from the three Benelux-Countries an opportunity to present their research findings to an informed audience of transport researchers. The conference will take place on the HEC Campus.

On this occasion, Professor Dr. Alan C. McKinnon, currently holder of the BIVEC Transport Chair, will give a public lecture on the “Interaction between climate change mitigation and adaptation in the freight sector”, and Professor Dr. Pierre Duysinx, director of the ULg automotive lab, will give a public lecture on electric vehicles.

Colleagues from the Benelux-universities and research institutions, who are doing research on any topic related to transport, mobility and logistics, are invited to submit «extended abstracts» for selection as conference contributions.

All abstracts will be peer reviewed by a scientific committee. Your abstract must not exceed 1,500 words. It must be typed in Times New Roman size 12 single-spaced. Abstracts must be submitted via [email protected] by December 6, 2016 at the latest.

  • January, 15 2017 Author notification
  • April 15, 2017 Full paper due
  • May 18-19, 2017 Conference dates
