Abstract

The success of computerized vehicle routing systems depends, for the major part, on the variety and the complexity of the real-world side-constraints that can be handled. This paper gives an overview of some side-constraints important to practitioners and presents some ways to consider these side constraints in solution methods for complex vehicle routing problems.
