Three-year PostDoc @ KU Leuven – Operations Research for sustainable urban supply chain operations.

The KU Leuven Institute for Mobility (LIM - https://www.kuleuven.be/lim) and the Centre for Industrial Management, Traffic and Infrastructure (CIB - https://www.mech.kuleuven.be/en/cib/) are looking for a PostDoc in the scientific domain of “Operations Research”. The PostDoc will lead the STRAUSS research project on “SusTainable collaboRAtive Urban Supply chainS - The future of urban supply chain orchestration”. STRAUSS is a practically oriented research project, funded by the cSBO program of VLAIO, together with Hasselt University, University of Antwerp, VIL, four cities and ten supply chain companies. It aims to explicitly integrate the sustainability and liveability perspective of the cities with the economic and sustainability perspective of supply chain companies. The PostDoc will coordinate the project and oversee that the PhD students from three universities collaborate whenever appropriate. He/she will also supervise one or two PhDs and work on the valorisation plan for during and after the project.
